Is your passion for sale? If not, why are you selling your dreams short?

How many goals have you written down, only to watch yourself not accomplish them? These goals then turn into burdens and you start to criticize yourself for not achieving them. You planned them for hours, wrote them down, put them on your dream board , and?.nothing.

How many times have you said to yourself, ?Okay, I really, really, want this?? Tomorrow I am going to start doing _________. The day comes, you are excited, and as the day goes on and when the time has come to move forward you stall.

This is why these things happen to you.

First:
At the time of the idea, goal or venture your passion is at it?s highest. You can vision your endpoint. The feeling is surreal and you can almost feel the exact emotions you would feel when you accomplish your task or reach your goal.

This passion is so strong that your brain disregards all the negative signals that are being sent to you. You think ?Where will I get the money?, but your passion steps up and says ? Don?t worry about it. It will come.? This happens over and over until you are convinced that achieving your desired result is absolutely possible.

Then:
A few minutes, hours, or days later your perception of reality starts to kick in. All the negativity of the world, your friends and family and respected co-workers reprogram you to make you think that you are crazy, you will never make it, it is too hard or what about the money? Your perception of your own self belief is now questioned. Your passion has been sold for the price of self doubt, fear and procrastination.

At that deciding point your brain makes a subconscious decision to defend your self belief or default to your normal way of thinking.

Do not sell your passion to negative people, circumstances, daily troubles of the world or to any other externality that does not line up with your dream. The cost to BUY your passion back is far too expensive a price.

Imagine when you were once was passionate about something and was full of life. Remember how it felt. Think about how hard it is to convince yourself to do it again.

Failure is painful and your body is naturally programmed to avoid anything painful. -Tony Robbins

It is said that is easier to give birth to new life, than to try to resurrect the dead.

How Can I Keep My Passion Burning?

1.Create a dream board.Put images of your goals, people who mean the most to you, dates of your vacations and the house you want to live in. My dream board consists of tons of people I know and the places I want to go.

2.Turn off the T.V. T.V stands for Thought Vixen. It constantly implants thoughts into your mind in an effort to get you to take action for some advertisement. Even worse the actual shows are filled with negative issues that attempt to relate to you making you feel ?I am like this person on t.v and he couldn?t do it so why should I.? Not to mention the countless hours of time it steals from you.

3.Have a Grateful Board. Similar to a dream board, but has pictures of your current car, your current home, places you have already been, people you have already made happy.

The Gratitude Board is most important thing of the above listed. Only when you appreciate what you have and where you are, can you determine where you need to be and where you are going.
