A very smart man by the name of Jason L. Scott the 1st once told me something that has changed my life forever. The statements he made that day hit home with me and I soon realized the power of the mind.

I want to first say that Jason did not make up this quote up, but "through" him it was delivered to me. He stated:

Given the sum total of all your decisions you cannot change who you are, your past or predict your future, but given new life and new vision, you can begin to "Become".

What does it mean to become. It means to me that I have the power to choose if I want to become wealthy, become inspirational, become successful, become a great father. The power to become only comes from knowing that you "are".


When you live in the moment and in you unleash the power of knowing you "are" you start to say things like this: I AM a great father...I AM a mentor to my children....I AM a leader with passion.

When you live in the past mistakes and failures you are operating in the power of "Was" and you make statements like this: I was a doctor.. I was a good person...I was a failure...I was on top of my game.

What will you commit to today that will help you get closer to your goals?
